Alpha Delta Kappa is an organization of veteran and retired teachers who want to create a community of altruism, world understanding, and educational excellence around the globe. This organization has over 30,000 members worldwide and is now beginning to gain a following of pre-service educators. Two groups of young teachers have established Alpha Delta Kappa Collegiate Clubs in Indiana at Ball State University in 2016 and At Colorado State University in 2019. These groups work hard to make a positive educational impact on the community while also creating a family amongst future educators. This organization is incredibly close to my heart and I am excited to watc it grow and thrive in the coming years.
